Froggy Went A Courting

A few nights ago was the full moon. The Pacific chorus frogs were in full swing in Beaver Creek marsh. This time of year it sounds like "Close Encounters of the Third Kind", with the marsh ready to take off into space. I can see the whole basin lifting up and off over the ocean.

Pacific chorus frogs come in various sizes and colors ranging from bright green to dark brown.  Amazing that they have so many appearances.  They must be great shape shifters, especially with a voice like this.
